Classes are available as courses of six sessions, which can be arranged at whatever time suits you. You can do all six sessions in one day if you wish or do just one per year for the next six years! Most people arrange one or two sessions per week then book another course of six for continuation.
Tai-Robics is deliberately designed to be very flexible so you go at the pace that is best for you. At its core is a greatly simplified (for easier learning) sequence of twelve tai chi moves. These moves are initially aimed at improving your posture, co-ordination, balance, breathing and body-awareness. As you become more capable and confident the moves are also used as the basis for a fat-burn and cardio workout, up to five levels of intensity - depending on your ability and fitness. You build up gradually at your own pace with Kerrison's personal guidance.
For your first course of six sessions you learn three of the moves in your first session, then another three in each of the second, third and fourth sessions, giving you all twelve. These are then consolidated in the fifth and sixth sessions.
Subsequent courses of six sessions are used for polishing details and helping you do the moves accurately and smoothly, thereby learning how to use them for fat-burn and cardio.
